It is absolutley ESSENTIAL that I find a way to set the
Program Files folder to be shared over my LAN.  Ive tried
getting around it but to no avail! IT MUST BE SHARED!

changed my password and the user panel suggested that I
prevent other users from accessing my files, so I said
yes.

I'm trying to set up the windows 2000 login on my computer, but I seem to have a slight problem. When I go into user accounts set up, there is no advanced tabs! Infact, there are no tabs at all. Where oh where did it go?

File sharing is working within my home LAN workgroup (WinXP Home, Win 2k and
WinME machines).  All machines see each other and previously shared files
and folders.  I can move files back and forth.   My problem is that I on my
XP machine, I can no longer make new folders or files ...

I have a virus, MultiDropper-GP.b, that has attached
itself to C:\windows\System 32\wingua.exe\WINGUA.EXE.  
McAfee Virus 7.0 has identified it but I cannot clean the
