Hola,
Trying to share a database (Access) across a simple peer-to-peer network
using XP Pro.
I have seven computers in the workgroup.  Two of the computers need to have

When I try to run "gpedit.msc" I get the error
message "Snap-in failed to initialize.  Name: Group Policy
Object Editor.  CLSID:{8FC0......}".  I get the same error
message when I try to add the snap-in.

Even when I'm logged in as an administrator, I can't seem to get the
runas utility to run a process as user NT AUTHORITY\LocalService:

I installed Ad-aware 6, a spyware cleaning tool. Now I am
not able to see anything under my 'Admistrative Tools'. I

Is there any way to repair a corrupt system file without doing a complete reinstall?  Right now the Windows will not boot (even in safe mode).

When I'm using internet connection -- browser or e-mail
program -- Windows frequently shuts down automaticaly
after sending a message that "the Remote Procedure Call
service terminated unexpectedly."  I have no idea what
