Cant check to see if Firewall is enabled. I click, start; settings; control panel; network conections; But when i click "Change Settings of this connection" nothing happens at all... Any ideas?

Each time I try to log off, it does nothing. I go to start, then to log off, the log off, then the hour glass symbol appear next to pointer but nothings happens. I can only log off completely when another user is logged on
