I bought a new scanner but the software says I must be the
administrator to install the software.
How do I login as administrator?

My computer was infected with the blaster worm pretty much
right after upgrading to Windows XP and getting on the
internet to download the updates.  I cleaned the computer
with a program and patch from the Microsoft website.

certain user but then to immediately lock itself.

remember creating an Administrator account and one
account for each member of my family.  At start up my
