Is Systems Restore a problem as I am led to believe that viruses even though ostensibly killed are brought back to life by Systems Restore. If so this a major deterrent to using this otherwise superb facility. Is there anyway

Does anybody know if there is a way for workgroup connections to XP pro to use credentials other than GUEST. This makes it impossible to remotely administer an xp desktop in a workgroup or an unknown domain directly.
