I have unintentionally deleted a user account on my PC through the Control Panel Users Accounts maintenance. The associated files (my documents, email, etc.) have been deleted as a result.

My father has XP and even though the guest account is turned off and we are behind a firewall with no ports open, his event viewer shows guest logging on and off I'm also seeing anonymous logon. I want to view his security permission on his drives but the security tab is not there ...

It takes 2 tries at the LOGOFF or TURNOFF button to get a result - generates the following message in HELP & SUPPORT. Can anybody suggest a remedy??
