When I registered my XP, I inadvertantly spelled my name
wrong.  No biggie...just nitpicking.  At any rate, I've
changed it in the Registry under RegOwner, but it still
shows up wrong in My Computer Properties.  I've checked

My XP Pro Machine will not permit me to add users
or groups from the domain to a share. Only the local
machine shows in "locations".  What security setting is

It looks like the Microsoft servers that makes up the interface to
the Microsoft newsgroups (CDO) are having trouble at the moment.
You could switch to use a proper newsgroup reader instead of using
CDO (e.g. Outlook Express), more about this here:
