When people send me emails with attachments, outlook express always says they are unsafe and I am unable to open them. I know they are coming from reliable sources and do not contain viruses. Does anyone know how I can change that setting?

I recently found that any user of my computer can access any file in my "private" folder (under folder properties/sharing I enabled "make this folder private") simply by using the search function on the start menu.
