I'm not sure whether my question got through so I'll ask
it again. I have Windows xp home edition and I have tried
to install McAfee virus scan 2004 ver. 8.0 and it refuses
to install. It goes so far and then just quits. Could

I am running Win XP PRO.. I have encountered an issue
with a shared database located on a file server that
since upgrading to Windows XP from 2000, only one user is

Am running xp pro sp1 in a 6 computer workgroup. 2 of the
stations are xp home. I am trying to set access levels
for certain folders and there is no security tab in the
folder properties dialog window. All computers are NTFS.

I am trying to download the Windows XP Service Pack 1 and

I down loaded some security updates my system is not

The message basically says, your comp will close down in

I'm trying to limit some users in my computer using
gpedit.msc, but the policies i made affects all users!
I'll try to explain better:
1. I have 3 users: Jon, Mary and Cris.
