I recently upgraded my operating system from Windows XP
Home to Windows XP Pro on my Toshiba 5200 laptop.  After
upgrading, I tried to install XP SP1 but as soon as I
restart after the installation, I lose operation of both

I've had some recent performance trouble and I tried to
use "msconfig" to reduce the # of startup programs.
