There was a irresponsive website leaving some internet shortcut in my desktop and favourite as well. I have deleted it but it remained everytimes i restart my pc. How can i get rid of them? There were just shortcut

Only one user (out of four) has access to software (Kazaa) installed on shared computer running XP Home. Kazaa tells me it's due to others not having adm. access, but all shown as adm on user profiles. Suggestions to remedy appreciated!

XP Pro, logged on as Administrator. When I try to use GPEdit.msc to edit the Group Policy Object, I get an unspecified error with the message : No access to Group Policy Object on this computer(you may not have administrative rights)!

I have a user who has XP Home Edition. The Backup utility is not on the menu system nor can I find it on the hard drive. Was this removed in the home edition? If not, where is it? It should be in the accessories/system tools

When I log into XP machine as Administrator (for the Domain), I get an error when trying to go into Device Manager saying that I don't have administrative rights. Says I should log out and log back in as administrator. Does anyone know what could be causing this ? I am concerned ...
