I am using XP Pro, sp1 and 2000 server, sp4.
I want to run a computer startup script using Group
Policy that will set the computer's resolution to either
800x600 or 1024x768. I would also run it on user logoff.

We have installed a European version of WinXP Pro.  We
first installed critical Win Updates before installing
SP1.  Then tried installing SP1, but it couldn't install.  
So, we resotred the system back to the time before Win

Hi all i have a niggly problem, when you type in a
username and password for protected accounts you get a
pop up box asking if you would like windows to save
passwords. Like a divvy I clicked the no box and have to

We are also having administrator password problems on our
other computer. No one can remember putting a password in
(or even going into User Accounts) and we have run out of
ideas to try typing into the "type your password" slot. As

Outlook 2000 is blocking me from saving a .pst file which
is attached to an email I received.

bar?  I think it found its way in through outlook, which i
cant seem to get rid of either.  I cant even unlock my
tool bar!!! please help.

I have windows xp home, my sygate instraller keeps asking
me if c;\windows\system32\anh4w.exe should be allowed to
connect with rads01.quadrogram.com  Any idea what that
is, and should I let it connect??  thanks

my computer one day after I started it had somehow gotten
rid of all of my music and picture files. I have no idea
how to get them back. I assume they are still on my hard
drive somewhere because I did not delete them. I went to

Ive got a Winxp box on a 2003 domain. The XP machine has 2 nics, one to the
local network and the other connected to the internet. The xp machine is
providing internet connectivity to all clients and has a firewall installed.

Does anyone know how I can get the hotfix for the below
problem? Microsoft point me to Fujitsu-Siemens and FS
point me back to MS. My PC is an OEM machine but
apparently I just need to get a hotfix from MS.
