i have norton anti virus installed,aa trojan was flaged up however i can't repair the file it was attached to nor can i delete or quarantine the infection. what can i do to get rid of this thing?

first of all, i want to state here that i tried all what i found it
documented in Win XP "Help and support" but all faild! i mean i wouldn't

Just gone to system restore to retore to a previous date
and guess what no restore points are listed...now I loaded
a new program a couple of days ago and want to return the

I need to put in an administrator account.  Directions
call for "jumpering pins 2 and 3.  Then turing on
computer making the changes in security admin.  Turning
off computer and jumpering pins 1 and 2 then restarting

When I run regedit, the window opens, then closes in

This morning I woke up and on my login screen there is an account that I
have never noticed before. It is an admin account and it is called "BACKUP".
I don't remember ever setting that account up and I am the ONLY person that
uses my computer besides my wife which is basically never ...
