I am running Windows XP Home Edition.
I am the administrator, and there are no other users accounts.
I am accustomed to booting up my computer and immediately seeing my
desktop, without having to go through a login screen.

I am trying to set rights so that specific users can use the com1 port.
I have found no UI for this task and the api call GetFileSecurity fails wit
LastError=5 (Access Denied) although the CreateFile call seems to wor
excelent with the specific com port
