I downloaded some Microsoft XP / OE patches recently (I
cant remember which ones ) but since then almost all
attachments I receive that are perfectly safe and even
some attachments I myself have created are being removed

I had to reinstall Incredimail and somehow it comes up in
OE now. Your above post helped and I can now open
attachments, but I would rather just have my Hotmail and
Incredimail accounts not go thru OE?

I in error installed update MS03-026 on my WIndows ME then realized I should not have. NOW I can't open Windows at all.  Can't get past the MS Windows ME screen

I disabled Norton antivirus in my winini startup files to

virus which infected the file 'info32.exe' . However it
could neither quarantine or repair the infected file ,
and I could not delete the file manually. I then

I have Windows XP home and have found this trojan in
c:\windows\winup.exe and c:\rundl32.exe  
House call online scan says that these are not cleanable.  
Any suggestions or help would be much appreciated....

We have 2 PCs at our company which do not log onto a
network, thus only have local accounts. We would like to
have these 2 PCs authenticate by using a smart card.
Can XP do this with built-in software? Or is 3rd party
