I downloaded some Microsoft XP / OE patches recently (I cant remember which ones ) but since then almost all attachments I receive that are perfectly safe and even some attachments I myself have created are being removed

I had to reinstall Incredimail and somehow it comes up in OE now. Your above post helped and I can now open attachments, but I would rather just have my Hotmail and Incredimail accounts not go thru OE?
