I represent a grammar school that has internet access.  
Although they are about to upgrade to XP Pro, they have
an immediate problem with some of the kids hitting
(either by accident or on purpose) inappropriate sites.  

I am trying to install WPA on my Windows XP Pro laptop.  
I downlaoded and applied patch # Q815485, the patch does
not appear in my software installation window even though
a system message said that the patch was installed.  

help, i cant terminate process in the system username,
and it would say this

The operation could not be completed.

I hope someone can help me.

I have a virus in my computer. Several AV programs did
not detect it. Spybot, spy sweeper and adaware could not

Certain users on my network cannot seem to get rid of
files in their network drive.  After logging off and back
on, the files/folders are back.  The affected computers
all use XP Pro roaming profiles, but not all Win XP Pro

last night my computer dialed something 2x once at 3am and
again at 7am;
read 53 bytes the first time and 65 the 2nd.  No writes.

My stepson has made himself computer administrator and
changed everyone elses account to limited. but refuses to
change any back. is there any way to bypass this to restore

 When we are logging into the Domain with the network
not available, the user is not being cached.  We get the
error The system cannot log you on now because the domain
is not available.  Why would this profile not be caching?
