I had WinXP Pro and was running well for my home use before I upgraded to
WinXP Pro.
But that was not running well and I decided to reinstall XP Home.
When reinstalling Home,I installed as a New Installation from Win Set Up

Norton Antivirus 2004 seems to be checking every file on my system,
all the time! And it's damn slow! I had 2002 previously, and just kept
getting updates. It didn't check files all the time though, only when
