Since I did this I have not been able to use it. The
usual page comes up but clicking on any of the options

Trying to delete two adware files from

I'm trying to load Norton Internet Security 2004. I'm
supposed to disable XP's firewall. I'm the computer's

I must have done something stupid with my administrative
privileges.  I am unable to access "internet options".  I
get an error msg stating that "this operation has been
cancelled due to restrictions in effect on this computer"  

I recently bought a laptop with Windows XP Home Ed. on it.
