Before I played with security my family's XP Pro PC
would boot to a screen where we could simply select the
family member using the PC and it would load their
desktop and settings (default from new install).

for some reason svchost with "local service" under the
user name colulmulum (whatever) inside task manager is
SUCKING 90% of my CPU and the memory number is gradualy
growing as time flows by. No programs are running by the

Is there any way I can password-protect my PC? Like if a
user turned on my desktop, he or she would require a
password to access the content within? I've had my
privacy violated before & it was extremely upsetting.
