I need to modify my Windows registration info. My last name was misspelled when the info was entered, everytime I load a driver or program, the registration feilds auto-pop with the incorrect spelling, how do I correct this? Thank you

On an XP machine, on an NTFS drive, I create a file. I then modify the permissions on this file : I disable inheritance, I remove all lines and add myself and give Read & Execute permissions only.
