When I click on Tools - Internet Options I get a message This operation has been cancelled due to restrictions placed on this computer. Contact your system administrator. I am the system admin. Does any one know how this happened? Thank you Ellen

1 that has expired in April,and another on will
soon expire also,is it safe to remove those ?

I'm currently researching some kind of popup that is
occurring on my winxp laptop computer.
a small system error message pops up when I turn the
machine on.  In the header it says "Actulice" and the

I've had this 2.8meg critical update download repeatedly
via auto update and is always listed as 'successfully
installed'.  Then if I check the windows update site that
same critical update shows as being required by my pc.

Am having a few problems with my pc and have tried to do a system restore, but each restore point (system checkpoint) i try, and it keeps telling me that my computer could not be restored

When I check the tasks currently running, I see this
mciole16.exe running.  I did the search to see where it
is located.  It is under C:\Windows\System32.  I have
never seen this exe file running before.

processor capacity and memory and freezes the computer.

He mentions that simply closing a popup by using the X box in the windo

My McAfee anti-virus picked up this when i
scanned.....C:\WINDOWS\WSEM216.DLL....says it cannot be
cleaned...it is a windows file so i dont know if i should

I left my Messenger status set to "away" last night, and when I went back on this morning, it told me that I had to log in because I had logged in somewhere else.  I haven't given my password to anyone, so this made me worry that someone else was using my account or something.  ...
