I went the site that was given and followed the
instructions. One of the things: KB828026 folder wasnt
there. I did delete the SPO - it did include the folder
with the KB828026 name.

I cannot apply the windows hotfixes as I don't have
Cryptographic Services installed.  I'm running Windows XP
(Home).  Any ideas on how to rectify this as I've hit a

I recently changed my password I have Administrators acct , and guest account.  I can get in on guest acct but cannot change alter, download etc etc under the guest functions.  I can't figure the combination I used on my password which I have changed before and never forgot it ...

When I check on security for a hard disk on my system it lists users that I
don't understand.  The users are "CREATOR OWNER" and "Account Unknown"
followed by a string of numbers and letters and in parentheses.  This system

For months now, booting went straight into windows (normal)
This morning, it suddenly showed an old User and required a Pwd to logon to windows. None of my normal Pwds are working therefore cannot get in
Tried Safe mode as Admin and cannot reset passwords this way.
