I am working on an associate's laptop who is no longer

Had the sasser worm and reinstalled all software. I
cannot now set a firewall on my internet connection. I

I have a problem where upon startup, XP goes
through 'normal' booting until it reaches 'Windos is

The Program Files directory contain subfolders
titled "microsoft frontpage" and "xerox" both of which
are spelled in lower case letters.  The folders cannot be

When I run Windows update it never says there are any new

It never fails,everytime I download the top 3-4 Spyware-
Adware programs,I end up with a bunch of cling-ons,
so what's the use in using them?

i recently had to switch my \Windows\ folder to my 2nd
hard drive because of some errors, and i wanted the files
from the 1st hard drive copied over from \Documents and
Settings\ but my user account \Jon\ had been protected,

hello, my issue is that i have 2 hard drives one for my
OS and applications, the other for everything else (my
pictures, my documents, etc.).  
unfortunately i had to re-format my OS hard drive leaving
