I have the annoying Boot.malmo virus message popping up
everytime I start my WXP pro. I read that it can be
removed by running fixboot from the recovery console. Can

I want to create an account where the user cannot open the
start menu and cannot right click on the task bar,

Working on a former xp pro business machine that's now
used alone (not networked) for someone's personal use. I
changed from the non-existing domain it was set up on to

Where would i find the adm files to implement system

The Update KB282026 installed fine. The problem is, when XP
PRO operating system scans for new updates, the OS finds it
needs this update everyday. No matter how many times it is
installed it still thinks it needs this update.

I had user files that were encrypted mistakingly in
Windows XP OS, now that OS was deleted from the hard disk
and a new installation was done but I cant get to open
the encrypted files or decrypt them in the new windows

The last security update, XP KB840374, conflicts with my
anti-virus/firewall program. When the update is installed,
it prevents my firewall from loading and I cannot get
