Is there any way that i can put a password on my folders?
i'm running Windows XP Home edition

Some important system files of my WindowsXP was modified. Now I can't
logon into my desktop. But the network is still working. I know
there're default sharing drivers in WindowsXP. So I want to access my
files from another machine. However, when I type "\\192.168.0.1\C$",

I have two PCs connected with a crossover cable and using internet connection sharing.  Both PCs are running XP Pro

I helped a friend remove this from his computer a few days ago.
Now he is getting the same message about the file being missing.
Anyone know what might have caused it's return?

In spite of the fact that I have cleaned out the Spyware
with AdAware, the next time I do an AdAware scan, New.net
shows up to be removed again.Then onb the next scan it
shows up again and I remmove it again!

While I'm on line my computer keeps send out emails that I don't have any control over, and there aren't any messages in my sent file.

I am wondering if there is a special setting to connect to
XP Pro from 2000 Pro, I try to open a shared folder on XP
from 2000 using the admin account and I get the Unknown
