Is there any way to keep someone from getting the the
internet with XP Pro. I have made some group policy to
not allow iexlpore.exe to be run. However you can still
just type a url inside any address bar and get to the

It's driving me crazy - how can I get rid of the Manage menu item on right

after the  installation of service pack  2 under Windows XP pro  it  come  to the following problem of the Mutoh Rockhopper I printer,  attached under TCP/IP with the program Flexi Sign from  Amiable cannot any more be addressed.  Message = connection cannot be opened.

I have disabled several "services" to speed up booting and performance.  I note that now I cannot complete a backup using the WinXP backup utility
Anyone know upon which services the backup utility is dependent (so I can re-activate these services)

I have Windows XP Home Edition and I wanted to know if I could make it so that when the logon screen comes up it does not show the last user who logged onto the computer.  Is there a way to get into the Local Policy with Home Edition?  Please help

I was trying to download the sasser virus update but
received an error message KB835732 Setup Error-setup
could not verify the integrity of the file Update.inf.  
Make sure the cryptographic service is running on the

When clicking on internet, a home page I haven't chosen
appears. It appears to be a general search engine and is
in the Control Settings Add/Remove programme but when I
try to delete it it directs me to connect to internet and

Some rogue program resets my internet home page and
search engine without my consent. How can I stop this?
