cannot get into secure sites30 May 2004 22:01 GMT1
I have desktop & laptop connected to router.  The desktop can get into all sites.  The laptop cannot get into any secure sites were I have to enter personal info(SSN#, Banking, etc.).  Is this a XP security thing or is this something in Internet Explorer?  In either case...help??

not sure why the patch will close itself when running it.
and when being scanned for sasser worms, they reported
none, but i'm very sure that the computer has sasser

Brand new laptop, set up limited acct's for kids and kept
admin. acct for me.  Input my password, retyped it for
accuracy in the next box, did the clue thing.  After

My IE has something in it that makes every word "book" "advanta" "discover", and possibly others, into links to different companies (amazon, among others)
Originally I had the Google taskbar but now I've un-installed it and the problem still remains

sometimes a process called HelpSVC.exe (or something like this) runs on my pc
it slows down my computer so much, that it is impossible to do something els
is it collecting some information and sending to Microsoft

In XP Pro, is there any setting that will automatically clear the temp and
history folders when the user logs off?
The only thing I have found was a setting that clears the recent documents
