With Windows XP any user can get access to Administrative
Tools through the Control Panel which is an option under
Other Places when opening My Computer.

The last time I picked up a virus I wasn't having much luck with Symantec's removal tool so I used System Restore.  It seemed to do the trick then.  Would someone please let me know if it would work with  this new worm.  Thank you very much, Johnn

My pc has been infected by the sasser virus and i have
run the microsoft fix.  Now Norton av can't run and the
auto protect is off when the pc is rebooted.  Also i
can't get on to the symantec website to get virus upadtes.

Because I have the sasser virus,  I downloading the latest security bulletin.  All went well, fully dowloaded and then when it was being applied to my system an error came up about "make sure your cryptographer is okay" or somthing to that effect.  So I'm assuming nothing was ...

I have found out that there is a virus in the file
C:\Documents and Settings\All
Users\Documents\bysconf.exe.  Norton has advised to
delete this file and reload this file if necessary.  Is
