I have written a program that set an ICS on an XP PC.
Now I want to add a new feature (very important one).
I want my program to identify when a user connects its PC to a router.
My not good solution was, to search for DHCP server in the network, though,

What do i need to do to fix a prompt that keeps comming
up when i tun on my computer.  Message says: WARSNIFFER
component MSWINSCK.OCX or one of it dependency not
currently registered.  file missing or invalid.

Haven't logged in to my XP (Home) Desktop machine in a
while (mostly use the laptop) and forgot my password.
Foolish.  Now - how can I log in to change/reset?  I've

i was hit with a couple of virus's,my norton picked them
up,all but 1 was deleted,i went to norton's site to get
instructions on how to remove,i followed steps but files
are still there,in my control panel there are 4 folders

I have winXP Pro and want it to go straight in without the
logon screen. I have only one account on the machine. I
have done this in the past, but after a re-build, I can't

I am the system admin for our site in Seattle, WA and I
am having trouble deleting some old employee accounts.  I
am trying to remove old accounts and user setting but
when I try to delete the user folders from C:\Documents

I have upgraded from ME to XP Pro and several desktop functions are acting strange.  For instance, I cannot switch users through the desktop, I have to use ctl+alt+del to switch users and to log off.  The win button+L will work but not the desktop.  I cannot open a tif file even ...

One of our applications requires users to install a PKI cert in the Personal
Cert store.
We are having some problems with them intalling on XP machines.
I know it is simply a user rights issue (as Admin rights sorts it out)
