Why would CHKDSK have an error when using the /f switch?  
CHKDSK runs and says it "Cant Lock Drive" reboot and

I need to remove a windowsxp update, specifically,
KB835732 however these is no "remove" option in Add or
Remove programs.  Is there a way to remove updates other
than through Add or Remove programs?
