I'm using Windows XP Home.
On my Desktop properties Screensaver tab I checked "on resume password
protect."  The effect of this is that after the screensaver is on I have to
enter a password to access the computer.  But what I really want is for the

page set at msn.com under internet options.  Every  time I

i changed my password to log onto my computer for windows XP to exactly what it was before.  Now it won't let me log onto the computer at all. Can anyone help?  If i have to reinstall it, will i lose information in my pictures or word documents? thanks

I set up some computers with XP Pro and used the security

I've used Norton anti virus which found this adware which has hijacked explorer, inserting a specific url. I have located the file causing it but I cannot delete it. can any one advise on the best way to rid browser of this plague
