My other computer never gave me a logon screen before, and
then, a few days ago, it started loading one when it was
started up.  My name is there, but when I click it, this
is what happens:

I would like to Block a specific "known" Program in Windows XP Home edition
to prevent from executing. Is this possible?
For example, I would like a program named "ApplicationX" from "executing". I
don't want to prevent ApplicationX from installing or un-installing. But I

I have a computer that the motherboard and the CPU went

I just bought an IBM ThinkCentreS50 desktop PC with
Windows XP Professional. When it is connected to our LAN
(complete w/ IP address, GW and DNS, domain name) it
