I have now tried both the network install version and the
Windows update version with the same result.
I am running XP Professional - it was one of the first
ones (I pre-ordered XP when it was released).

This problem looks like it can be solved easily but i've
tried almost everything.  I want to download the sp2
update from the windows update website, but when i click
the install button, a dialog box pops up telling me that

Iv figured out that the shortcuts in Documents and settings/All
Users.Windows/start menu/Programs folder show up when All Users
(Joe/Sue/Mike) click the start button/all programs.

When I setup my xp pro it wont let me have "normal users"

I recently purchased a machine with XP Home edition.  Shortly after setting
it up it began to experience problems some of which may not be related to one

1) I can no longer boot without my XP CD in the drive.  I've tried a fixmbr

After installing Win XP SP2 my XP machine could not
connect to my Linksys WRT55AG router. Other XP machines
minus SP2 still connected properly. None of the computers
