I have now tried both the network install version and the
Windows update version with the same result.
I am running XP Professional - it was one of the first
ones (I pre-ordered XP when it was released).

This problem looks like it can be solved easily but i've
tried almost everything.  I want to download the sp2
update from the windows update website, but when i click
the install button, a dialog box pops up telling me that

Iv figured out that the shortcuts in Documents and settings/All
Users.Windows/start menu/Programs folder show up when All Users
(Joe/Sue/Mike) click the start button/all programs.
I also figured out that the shortcuts in Documents and Settings/"Joe" only

When I setup my xp pro it wont let me have "normal users"
logon what do I do?  Someone please help me.

auto update dowloaded & installed service pack 2,however
it does not show popup blocker or windows firewall on
