We don't use Internet Explorer, Outlook Express or Messenger. We all run Windows XP Professional. Do we need to download and install SP2? Is there a way to customize the download?

I have been trying to use the windows update but end up in error code 0x80070003, normally this means the folder % programfiles%\WindowsUpdate\v4 is missing, but this is not the case.

I recently did a fresh install of Win XP Prof and installed SP2 on top of it. Just as with Win2k, I noticed that Windows XP has sharing enabled by default. I right clicked on my hard drives and found that both were automatically set up as shares.

I am trying to install the patch for this security bulletin but whenever I try I get an error stating that I need to have Outlook Express 6 with SP1 installed. I am running Windows XP Pro SP1 which means I have OE6 SP1. Any help would be appreciated.
