I recently purchased a new laptop with Windows XP which I
configured several Group policy settings on.  
Specifically I enabled the "Password must meet complexity
requirements" setting.  I then joined the computer to my

Just wanted to let you know that I went on a website
yesterday afternoon that must have been infected with all

Here's my dilemma . . .
I originally had Windows XP on two hard drives that were striped together
(Promise RAID).  It worked well for a year or so but then recently it failed.
Whatever I tried, I could not boot up the system--I think something in the

I am trying to follow a Computer Cops post about how to remove the
about:blank hijacker. One of the steps is to run MRC to edit a hidden .dll in

I can't input ctrl-alt-del to access Windows XP.  When I

I recently re-installed Windows XP. Since then, Internet
Connection Firewall does not remain enabled when the
machine is re-booted. I am able to re-enable it when this
happens, but it seems to drop out after a while and is
