Hi i downloaded Microsoft spyware recently because I couldnt browse the web.
and I still cant.  Evne tho, it found 2 spyware things on my computer...one
was deleted and one was quarantined.  I cannot browse the web nor can I still

Every time I log off and log back on, my Windows Firewall comes up turned
off. I can turn it back on with no problem, but it doesn't seem to "take."
Anything I can do to prevent it from being turned off at each logon?

I want to open, but restrict access to, ports TCP 139 and TCP 445 on a
machine running XP SP2 with windows firewall enabled.
Trouble is I want to open and restrict access of these ports to a single IP

I am trying to secure a standalone laptop computer that contains sensitive
