I cannot enable the firewall on my PC. Whenever I log on I get a re balloon in the taskbar telling me that the firewall is not enabled When I try to enable it, I get the message "Windows cannot start th Windows Firewall/Internet Connection Sharing (ICS) service".

I have a kid who is set up as a User on an XP (home) machine. He is not Admin to avoid download and install of games/spyware/RATs etc. He does not know the Admin password. One game requires him to be Admin to run. Won't work as a User.

So I downloaded service pack 2 for XP PRO and it shutdown my Norton auto protect for anti virus. When I try to enable, a window pops up stating a script error. And asks if I want to debug or not. Well I tried and it did not do anything.

My laptop is a Windows XP Home machine. Every month, I make a backup of the files on my laptop to a DAT tape drive on a Windows 2003 server. I am running the Microsoft backup program on the server under the administrator account.
