Hey, is there any way to password protect one file or folder? Basically
saying to access this folder from anywhere one needs to type in a password? I
know ive seen it done to get into a certain word or excel file but i dont

Microsoft has said that as of April 12, 2005 you will no longer be able to
block SP2 from your machine.....does this mean that it will be downloaded to
your machine, but you will have to install the update, or does it download

I've reinstalled Windows XP but the old users' folders in C:\Documents and
Settings still remains and couldn't be deleted. They were previously password

I had changed permissions as administrator. When the computer was

During the process of a clean installation of XP Pro, I went on the internet

on a on PC's for a group of people in our company.  I do not want to edit the
default domain policy until I have this fully tested.

Is there a way using a GPO or security object to make all doamin & local
users who login to an XP machine be a member of the "Power Users" group by
default? w/o having to touch each machine to make the change to the local
policy.
