My daughter put a password on her Windows XP boot-up screen and has promptly
forgot it making her computer useless.
How can I go in and override this password protection?  I have tried going

This may be a duplicate question....
I log in as administrator and Windows XP PRO accepts my logon without problem.
However I find that I am using the profile for TEMP. I have received no
message of corruption in the profile.

I've had a shiny new computer built, had it a week and having troubles
already. I've got installed Norton AntiVirus 2004, Spybot Search and Destroy,
and AdAware.  All updated with the latest releases.
I had the W32.Spybot.Worm virus, and Norton seems to have removed most of

i keep getting pop-ups on my computer that say they are from "windows" to
"user" - they say things like "x has detected spyware on your computer - go
to updatepatch.info to download x" - they also direct me to eantispy.com,
antieye.com, and fix-comp.com

I have donwloaded both adaware and spybot and I have Norton Antivirus +
Firewall on my PC - but since yesterday evening a small pop up box appears
for half a second or so then disappears - looks like a black dos prompt box,
but it dissapears so quickly I do not see what it is.  ...
