I notice when I share my c: or sub-folders on my workgroup, I am the only one without a logon box coming up for user credentials before access is granted. I have a password on my account profile but can't get it to apply to network logons.

I cannot set an admin password that will protect my computer from being booted to the desktop. I can set a password for the screen saver or when the computer comes out of standby, but both of these can be defeated by rebooting.

Just created a new user account. The Welcome page icon has a caption that says there is one unread email for this account user. The problem is there are NO unread emails for that account. Why is that caption present, and how do I get rid of it?

My son sent me an email with an attachment .mpg file. When I open it it says "File attachment: MOV00263.MPG The file attached to this email was removed because the file name is not allowed."
