All my other machines on the network (Win2000, Me, 98, etc) can send email via SMTP port 2525 just fine. But my XP Home laptop cannot send mail via port 2525. Port 25 works fine. Is it something with the XP built-in firewall? I've turned it off and added

I just installed XP home edition because my computer was running really slow and had tons of corrupted files, but, now I dont have any antivirus protection. how can I get an antivirus for free? and is'nt my XP supposed to come with some kind of protection?

i'm working from winxp i don't have adomai ..and when i maked the some policy i found it applid on me too with users ..i need that policy to apply just for all users not the administrator ..(all that in the same work station)
