I am currently getting ready to roll out SP2 for Windows XP Pro. I have some
concerns and I'm hoping that someone can help me with some questions I have.
The first question is will SP2 cause any problems with the cumulative
security patches that have been released?

Unable to change homepage on IE browser--stuck on  http://www.att.net, my
previous DSL carrier.   Have several different malware/adware/antispy
programs running, none have detected any hijacks.  Have tried running CW

I seem to be unable to switch off XP firewall - in 'Security Centre' it shows

i have WinXP with SP2 machine.  Suddenly from today onwards, I can't access
https link in my IE. I tried installing some other browser too.... That too
failed. Normal http  links are working.

In order to enhance security I need to remove the Control Panel, MS Dos
Prompt as well as the run comand,how do i do this?

I have Windows XP SP2 installed, no router, just a simple DSL modem.  I
have turned Windows FW off; however, ShieldsUp show all of my ports as

with one admin account ?

Ive reacently added 3 xp sp2 stations to my 2003 domain. While the
existing XP  and all the 2000 pro machines are behaving as expected,
these three are not. I have 2 problems and I'm not sure if they are
related.

PLEASE HELP ME!!! - I have forgotten my administrator password to get into my
computer on windows xp and I havent got a clue where to start!! There are no
other users on the computer.
Can someone please give me an idiot proof guide of how to get around this,
