I have resently installed two OS on my PC - Window XP and Windows XP 64bit  
Edition. I have a question about accessing files, when I am logged into  
one of them. The problem is:
Files & Folders, created when I am logged in Windows XP for example are

I have found this bit of  $&*! on my computer. It seems to be a bit of
malware that refuses to be defeated. It generate 3 other files 2 exe and a
dll. The dll name matches one of the exe. They are all random letters one

I'm looking at methods to secure my wireless network in addition to
encryption used by the router and adaptors.  Which would be to hide the
folders being shared across my internal LAN. When the shares are
hidden, is there any way for them to be discovered if by change someone

I have used 3D FTP for many years but cannot connect through Windows XP SP2
Firewall.  It verifies the IP address, then times out when connecting to the
site.  
If I disable the Firewall it connects very quickly, displays the directory

I keep receiving this confirmation window whenever I try to delete a folder
named 'New Folder' on my desktop and ONLY on my desktop. If I delete a folder
name 'New Folder' anywhere else that confirmation window does not pop-up.

I have user accounts set up but it does not keep our individual
settings. As a result my kids and I argue about the size of the display
settings. Is there a way to correct this?

I have a pesky "company" that just won't go away. Windows keeps asking me to
approve the certificate for it. I have no intention of doing so.
Is there any way of telling windows, " No, I don't want to allow this,
disallow it and do not ask me again" ?

Whenever I try to logon to Novell I have to click the workstation only button
or it says that I need to choose another tree or domain name.  I know there
is a way to not have to click it every time but I don't know what to change.
