No matter what I have tried I cannot remove the viruses (viri?) in this file. I have tried using rmdir/ command. del deltree etc. Several darkware downloaders in this folder.

I'm trying to clean up after a virus infection on an XP Pro SP2 machine. I have a list of all the registry entries added by the virus, and want to manually delete them. I can find them easily enough, but when I try to delete them I get an 'unable to delete all occurrences' message ...

I'm the computer administrator on my home PC running Win XP. I have an HP scanner attached to my PC. However the scanning software "HP Director" runs only when I log in. When other users who log in using the limited A/C, the scanner software doesnt run?

I quarantined a folder(finger trouble) and I want to restore it. When I try to access the quarantine manager the "!*+?" software stalls and eventually fails to respond. I found my quarantined list but it does not mention my last scans quarantined items. OOps...HELP

I have found a process that appears in the task manager when it is initialized, but dissapears in no time, it appears as SysFader, I don't know if it is part of Windows or some kind of spyware, because I've seen it when i have trouble with spyware or viruses in many computers ...

When viewing My Computer in XP Pro (SP2) I have 3 document folders shown; at the top is "My Documents" which displays all my documents. At the bottom of the list there are "Shared Documents", "UserA Documents" and "Ken's Documents"
