I want to help a friend via remote desktop. I am suspecting they have a virus on their computer. Is my computer vulnerable to any viruses that may exist on their computer? Can a virus transfer via a Remote Desktop connection? What, if anything should I be aware of?

How can you track or see who last made changes on a file or in this case a database? The database name was changed. It tells me when it was modified only. I know who had admin permissions but I need to trace who made the actual change. Is there a way of doing this? Thanks.

Hello, I downloaded the security updates for backup use. Is it possible to remove all files and folders of each update and keep the .exe files like (WindowsXP-KB834707-X86-ENU-EXE) and use just the .EXE files in case there is a need to reinstall the updates?
