When trying to install the recovery console (winnt32.exe) I always get an error message saying that it is out of date. The OEM WIndows CD of course is older than the SP@ updates I installed since I purchASED THE COMPUTER. hOW CAN i INSTALL WINNT32 with SP2 updates installed?

I believe a virus is killing my machine, it can take up to 8 hours just to load up to the desktop. I cannot load or run anything on the computer now as it is sooooooooooooooo slow.

Had an issue that ended up with me rebuilding XP from scratch on a new disk. The previously names \Documents and Settings\Stu now gives me access denied. It was set to Private (level 1) but I assumed I would be able to get at the files.
