What is the IPC$ Share in Computer Management:Shared Folders:Shares?
No sharing is turned on and Remote Access is off, yet it is still there.
Concerned it is a security risk.

All,
Running XP Pro SP2, with all updates.
Have five users on PC.  Do not use ctrl+alt+del to log on.
Recently, we went to log on, and the computer kept saying that we had forgot

Some internet site indicate it's bad.  I have anNywhere from 4 to 7
scvhost.exe's listed in Task Manager as running at one time.
If bad, how do I remove them/it?

I need to give several users the ability to change their TCP/IP settings
without putting them in either of the local Administrators or Power Users
groups.  Does anyone know how to do that.  I'm running a W2K3S AD domain

I am working on 2 XP computers.  I switched one to Guest and now can not get
out of it as it has been so long since we used a login that we have forgotten
passwords. Any way out of this?

Fresh install of XP Pro with SP2 Volume License Edition.
I go get the latest updates. I enable a few settings in gpedit such as:
Remove Desktop Wizard
Turn off personalized menus

Is it possible to allow a user access to stop/start a service on a
Windows 2000 server (while blocking their access to all other services
on the server).  I believe this is possible over Telnet.  Can SC.exe do

   Using XPPro I'm trying to change the IE security level for each
zone (Internet, intranet, etc) without success. Everytime I set a level
below "high" in Internet, XP shows me a warning message and goes back
to high. For some reason, other coworkers have the "medium" level by
