My new xp pro machine is adding a folder to docs & settings that has name of user - dot - name of machine. Example: Steve.Office. Why is this happening? Each time I delete it, it is recreated. How can I stop xp from doing this? I've not seen it before.

When I start my computer I get a message that windows cannot find nail.exe. This file was identified as a virus and deleted. How do I find out what program is trying to open nail.exe so I can delete it?

Does using Netbeui and NWlink Netbios in a wireless home network reduce your security? I have a mixed home network (XP Home - Windows 98) and seem to need them to successfully access a printer connected to a W98 desktop.

I just reinstalled XP Pro and SP2. When using Internet Explorer for a company site I keep getting the following information bar message: "Your current security settings prohibit running ActiveX controls on this page. As a result, the page may not display correctly."

Afte my Win XP2 pro system is brought up, for a brief moment Secureity Msg Indicates Nortion Anti-Virus is disabled then in a few secounds Mesg dissapears and Nortion icon shows its enabled. This only happens after system is brought up.
