Since I installed Xp on this machine I have logged on to the Admin
account.
It is there I have made all settings, mail, My Documents and so on.
I do not want to use the admin account on a daily basis.

I am the Administrator.  I would like to restrict computer access to all users.
Would like to make use of all the following options:
- unable for non-administrators to turn on the computer between 10PM and 6AM.
- unable for non-administrators to access internet.

While searching the threads I saw a question about this,  and was offered
some very helpful advice, but I still can't get this to work.
When I got my PC I  stupidly didn't know about the different profile so I  
have been using the   Administrator   profile.

I recently had to move my old hard drive running windows xp into a new
computer because there was some issue with windows.  I really wanted to be
able to save some of the info on my old hard drive because it is pictures of
my baby's first year and a half.  I have some of them ...

On Windows XP Pro I recently deleted a user and selected the keep files
option.  I can not locate the files on the hard drive. Does anyone know where
and how these files are saved, and how to recover them?

Running Windows XP Home on Dell4300. Had full Macafee Security Center in
place and running. Initially couldn't open e-mail. Macafee antivirus
indicated clear. E-mail returned for one day, then everything went South.
Can't get on-line, start menu doesn't open, can't open Macafee, ...

1.) In the My computer properties,"To rename the computer and join the
domain",CHANGE Button should be disabled for the Domain user Account
even he belongs to local administrator.

I am trying to install Norton Antivirus 2005 to my computer but it will not
go.  All other cd's work except that one.  I have Windows XP  and I installed
the Service Pack does anyone have any suggestions?

I use GHOST Ver. 7.5 for maintenance. I have Windows XP and have 2 problems-
1. If I backup one disk to another one (Disk to Disk) I use the flag -FDSP
and the image copying works fine. Problem is if I boot once from the new

My workmate's home computer has developed a problem. All his icons for his
software have been replaced by the unknown application icon for some reason.
Is this due to a virus or has something simple happened? Any answers would be
appreciated.

My homepage has been highjacked by a site called quicksearch.com. Internet
Properties in control panel still shows msn as my homepage. Anyone know how

Computer was attacked with Spyware and Ad-ware,  User profiles are not
loading, You get the menu to select user profile but once selected it tries
to load but you only get a black screen in windows.  I tried to boot up on
safe mode but I only have 1 regular user and Administrator ...
