hi hope someone can help plz
i have a new laptop with winXPhome installed,but the software i need for
work requires XPpro installed,I have a genuine xppro disk and fancy sticker
with serial no. etc but when i try to install xppro over home it says hme

I use MSN to get files and If the files are not zipped I cannot see them.
I am not an expert in PC and I have set the security to minimum, disabled
the firewall but I still cannot see these files unless they are zipped.
I just received one i need to open fast but the person forgot ...

"Change the way SC alerts me" is greyed out and short of reinstallin

Does anybody know anything about a trogen called lovpod.  I seem to have one
in
c;WIN\SYSTEM32\LOVPED\WINSP3.EXE

Is there any way to limit the size of a certain folder in windows xp
professional (service pack 2). I dont want the properties of the folder to
say that it has the entire hard drive free space as the folders free space.
AII want to limit a folder to like 100 MB. Is this possible?

Hello, when I go to log in to my hotmail account I enter email address
and password as usual, but it then asks me to enter email address again
and type in 8 characters which are displayed on the screen in distorted
form. I do this but it just goes back and asks me again. So I keep

I am running XP professional and have a virus called trojan horse 16.AG

I know I can put icons on "all users" desktops by creating shortcuts in the
desktop folder of "all users".  However, I want "My Computer," "My Network
Places," "Internet Explorer," and "My Documents" to be on the default

i am almost positive i have a serious virus. i have already downloaded
microsoft antispware and ad-aware SE personal, but nothing is working. PLEASE

The router has a built in firewall on the hardware.  Is it safe enough not
installing another firewall but with just the window SP2 firewall?  Does
adding a 3rd party fire wall provide better protection?
